Below are links to a video and an instructional PowerPoint on how MFA works and how to prepare for MFA. An authenticator app will be required on your smartphone for MFA. If you do not have a smartphone then you do have the option to receive your authentication code via text message. It is important to use your cell phone number if you decide to use the texting option. We will have someone from IT available if you need assistance.
To change your password at any time you will have to use the Self Service Site list above. Click here to access detailed instructions on how to register and utilize the Self Service Portal. Also, remember that your password will automatically expire every three months.
VPN is a virtual network that allows you to continue access the atlantatech.edu network if in the event you are away from campus we provide VPN on all issued laptops. If you are having issues connecting to VPN contact the helpdesk.
Remote desktop is a program or an operating system feature that allows a user to connect to a computer in another location, see that computer’s desktop and interact with it as if it were local. For assistance with remote Desktop contact the helpdesk.
