Spring Fling and Census Workshop

The Spring Fling is an annual event dedicated to enjoying the spring weather, bringing the community together, and informing students of opportunities available to them.  This year’s focus included the 2020 Census and the importance of voter registration.

Instead of a physical gathering, our Spring Fling event was pre-recorded via Zoom and shared out to our student population using YouTube.  Hosted by ATC community members Director of Student Services Ms. Dessie Hall, Rick Perkins Instructor of the Year Award winner Mr. Robert Leach, and Student Government Association President Mr. Bradrick Johnson, the Spring Fling event featured instructions on the importance of the Census and its significance and activities people can do in the home while maintaining proper distancing practices.

Summer Online Courses

Because of the recent quarantine and stay in place order, Atlanta Technical College is making sure our students can remain on top of their coursework by offering upcoming Summer courses.  These can be completed in one semester, in multiple departments including Business Technology, Business Management, and Computer Information Systems.

These courses will count for full credit hours and be counted towards graduation.  Atlanta Technical College is committed to its mission of providing lifelong educational opportunities and experiences through academic and innovative career preparation, and that includes online flexible learning opportunities.

Included in the online offerings available to the ATC Family are resources for how to fully become an online student here on Atlanta Technical College’s website.
