It emphasizes specialized training in safety, sanitation, hair treatments and manipulations, haircutting techniques, shaving, skin care, reception, sales, and management. The curriculum meets state licensing requirements of the Georgia State Board of Barbering.
The Cosmetology program prepares students prepares students to sit for the State Board Examination. The program emphasizes specialized training in safety, sanitation, state laws, rules , regulations, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, skin, hair, hair disorders, nails, nail diseases, nail disorders, hair care treatment, hair shaping, hair styling, artificial hair, braiding/intertwining hair, chemical reformation, chemical application, skin care hair care, hair coloring, hair lightening, reception, sales, management, employability skills and work ethics. The curriculum meets state licensing requirements for the State Board of Cosmetology.
The Criminal Justice Technology Degree program emphasizes a combination of criminal justice theory and practical application necessary for successful employment as well as continued educational advancement to a four-year institution. Graduates who are current practitioners will benefit through enhancement of career potential. Entry-level persons will be prepared to pursue diverse opportunities in the corrections, security, investigative, and police administration fields. Program completion does not ensure certification of officer status in Georgia. Students must seek such certification from the Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Council.

The program emphasizes a combination of early childhood care and education theory and practical application as well as general core competencies necessary for successful employment. Graduates have qualifications to be employed in early care and educations settings including childcare centers, Head start, Georgia Pre-K programs, and elementary school paraprofessional positions. Graduates of this program will receive one of five areas of specialization: program administration, paraprofessional, infant/toddler development, family childcare, and exceptionalities.
